the criminal case against kevin mcginty below - is just one of dozens of examples criminal cases against him and of his disregard for the law. how is it that someone who evades the law so arrogantly is allowed to get away with it? i post this stuff, only to show how a public figure like kevin mcginty is not really a compassionate family man like he trys to convey. he is another whackjob from the EXTREME right wing who is a criminal. and yes, i understand he writes an article in "newspaper", and writes at about a fifth-grade level, but yes folks - that's a public figure for you in Topeka LOL

i bet kevin would never vote for robert hecht... hecht is kevin's worst nightmare! hecht would nab his dumb criminal ass in a heartbeat!! LOL

i must admit i'm a little perplexed regarding your lack of understanding why it's my business who you call on the telephone. generally, you're right - it's none of my business. none of my business that is, until you choose to call in to multiple talk show radio programs everyday. kevin, that is what is called a "Public Forum", which opens your calls to public scrutiny and opinion. an example would be letters to the editor in local papers. say a person writes a letter to the editor that gets published. many times people respond to that letter with an opinion of their own that gets published. for those respondents that got published, it absolutely was their business to respond to what was said in the public forum of a letters to the editor section. get it?
as for the things i have to worry about, of course i have other things to worry about! based on what i see and hear of the various outlets you use to publicly share your opinion, i suspect that i have a lot more to worry about than you. that being said though, i care, so what can i say?!


As far how I handle my blog. Again, it's none of your business. I'm well aware of the fact that there are people out there who disagree with me. I've got no problem with that. But if you think for one minute I'm going to allow you to trash my blog with your non-stop name-calling and personal attacks, you're out of your mind.

Before I respond to your questions though, I'd like to hear you defend your position on abortion. I'd also love to hear why you believe that, as a man, I have no right to take a stand on this life and death issue. No, I don't want your typical links to some left-wing web site to simply read something someone else wrote. I want it in your own words.

well my first response was going to be "Hey!! I asked you first!!"... but you did ask for adult discourse, and i will comply while on your playground of course!
it's interesting how you phrased your comment... for me to "defend" my position on abortion. to defend it, would mean for me to provide information about that. and well, quite frankly, any research, studies or words on the matter that would back up what i say would be considered "left wing" by you. so you kind of cut me off at the knees here... but that's ok - again, it's your playground :)
now, what is my position on abortion, which is a pregnant female who makes a choice to terminate the growth of her fetus inside of her body...
i believe that it is the right of a woman to make that choice for herself, without any interference from the government. just like i believe it is a person's right to feed themselves with the foods they choose, or even to smoke. plus abortion is a legal procedure after all, and thankfully so.
as for why i think it's not your right, as a man, to weigh in on this issue is because pregnancy does not physically affect your body... sure, pregnancy can affect you on emotional levels just like a woman - but the woman has the additional concerns regarding the physical aspect of pregnancy. now, considering it's her own body that she's responsible for, i feel - ultimately - that it is her right to decide what to do with her fetus.
...by the way, did you see the picture in the cap journal a few months ago of that right wing darling and special interest slave to the anti-abortion industry, lance kinzer? It was during one of his crazy attempts this session to tell others what to do with their bodies based on his opinion. wow, there was a lot of white, and a lot of male in that room. i wonder why more women legislators don't support his bill? .... and yes, there ARE republican female legislators ;-)
additionally, so i am not a hypocrit, i support the woman's right to choose termination of her fetus in the "third trimester", although i admit it makes me a little uncomfortable. when the fetus is physically able to breathe and remain alive without the assistance of the womb, things get a little awkward, don't they? i think you should have a pretty darn good reason to choose to terminate the pregnancy when the fetus has reached this stage. that being said, i'm well aware of the verbiage used when attempting to outlaw "third trimester" abortions, and often it seems to lend itself to future precedence that could outlaw abortion in general. which of course is completely insane. right wing conservatives now attempt outlawing third trimester abortions as a baby step to outlawing abortion in general. that's just the facts, ma'am!! or rather - mister!

Brett Blackburn Pays 1440 Radio to keep quiet!!

Has anyone noticed that both Steve "Whacko" Forman and Jim Cates have spent days now wanting to brush the city council helicopter fiasco under the rug?
As most of you know, Brett Blackburn has undertaken some shady tactics in order to get this expensive helicopter purchased and pushed through on to the city of Topeka. Steve & Jim are trying to push the blame on to our City Manager Bonaparte (like they always do)... but the fact remains that it's Blackburn who has pushed and shoved and bullied his way through on this issue.

Everything can be explained though, by Blackburn's financial contributions to 144oAM radio! His commercials air regularly on that station. It kind of makes you wonder how honest Steve & Jim are being when they try to poo-poo this, huh?! Well, they're NOT being honest!! Blackburn is PAID ADVERTISER TO 1440 AM RADIO!!! no wonder they are trying to make this issue go away!!

Although Steve Forman has been known to waffle and pussy out on some issues, Jim NEVER does... but Jim is backing off too now! Blackburn being a sponsor of their shows only proves the point. Jim's crediblity is being lost!

If you don't believe me, let me give you an example in contrast... the eminent domain issue with the bicycle guy at the college hill site... this issue went on for MONTHS AND MONTHS AND MONTHS, but you never saw Steve or Jim backing down from their opinions then, did ya?! Jim & Steve didn't whine about how there were more important issues to deal with in the city of Topeka during that fiasco, did they?! They weren't afraid to share their opinions as long as needed! They never gave up, did they!!

Yet now they just want the helicopter issue to go away. Need I remind anyone that the bike shop was not a paying advertiser on 1440 radio?! hmmmmmmmm......!!

Steve-O can bloviate and turn blue as much as he wants that he's not in the back pocket of Brett Blackburn.... but he is! All facts support that he is eating lint out of Blackburn's pocket!!

Steve & Jim would have you believe that council is wasting time on this issue instead of working on more important issues like jobs and the cleanliness of our city. Well let me tell you - this "helicopter issue" is not taking one iota of their time!! The council totally could be working on other issues - but they are not. The helicopter issue is not a time wasting problem for them. And they also want to blame D.A Hecht now too! Do Jim & Whackjob Steve honestly thing that the D.A. is spending 100% of his time on this issue??!! LOLOLOL... do they know how many attorney's in the D.A.'s office are working on the same old crime issues that they do every day?!

Anyway - Steve & Jim can attempt to sidetrack things all they want - what it boils down to is their boy, Brett Blackburn, is a paying advertiser to 1440 radio, and if paychecks are important to them - they'll sidetrack this injustice Blackburn is putting upon Topeka.... and they ARE!!
